Who stood most to gain by this rhetoric?

1. The Real Axis of Evil, USA, Britian, Saudi Arabia...

We and these two allies threaten the stability of the world, no question about that.

As far as who stood to gain, look at the pocket books, Cheney is probably a Billionare now, versus being a "mere" Millionare, remember he has those stock options that he can't draw from till he's out of office at Halliburton, not to mention B and R, etc. Bush is probably getting a few kickbacks as well, also, Exxon-Mobil, BP, and Shell are making a killing as well.
