Energy March---Let's get the people on the streets for sound energy policy |
|
Enough po'd people out there, I imagine.
1. Demand IMMEDIATE raising of CAFE standards for all new cars. Screw the market and the auto industry--this is for the greater good of the nation. 2. Demand more competition in the oil industry--break up the huge companies. 3. Demand immediate increased funding of alternative energy research with action steps to implement, not just political voodoo words. 4. Demand public transportation for rural areas as well. 5. Demand that any city which wishes federal funds related to new development must plan to accommodate other modes of transportation than automobiles.
Now is the time to push some hard on some of these issues. Earth to Dem leaders--where the heck are you on energy.

Mike Ruppert commented, after doing a speaking tour of the U.S., that the one hopeful thing he sees is that Americans everywhere are taking on alternative energy projects and experiments. He says it's because they have no faith or belief in the federal government to do so.
Individual initiative is fantastic but imagine what we could do as a whole.
