Bin Laden blames the American people . . . not just U.S. gov't

If there was ever "quacks like a duck" indictment of CNN - (and maybe the timing of Bin Laden's tapes,) this meme is IT.
Peter Bergen (CNN "terrorism expert"). . is pushing it like this. "This is new. Up until now he made a distinction between the American people and the U.S. Government."

To my sensitive ears, this stinks of Rove's new attention to '06.

1. According to the book Imperial Hubris....

Bin Laden is following the perceived Islamic protocol for killing civilians in a holy war. In his previous announcement he "graciously gave the American people the opportunity to repent for their sins". In this audio tape he is declaring that the American people have not repented and are now open to the same punishment as our government because we share the guilt. This offers prove to the Islamic world that Bin Laden is operating properly from religious precepts when he takes the step of killing civilians and is not a blood thirsty monster.

7. Who translated and examined the Bin Laden tape?

1) The U.S. Government has NO credibility with BushCo & Republicans, Inc. in charge.

2) The tape is just further proof that BushCo & Republicans, Inc. are a complete and total failure to the citizens of the United States.

3) After all of Bin Laden's tapes that keep getting released, one would think that the U.S. Government would be narrowing down where the tapes are coming from, and actually locate their #1 enemy.

8. They're making this distinction so that ...

the american people will get angry and say "bin laden is against us too" and then the people will say " we are going to get behind dumbass" I don't care what he says, if we can believe the tapes. This is suppose to make his poll numbers go up.
