Bizarro World of media: Bush numbers tanking? ADD more RW talent to roster
Anyone else notice that the corporate media's answer to Bush's falling numbers, his failing presidency, and unpopular policy proposals is ADD more RW voices to their programs and talent roster?

Everyone from CNN, the GENBC's, and all of talk radio are actually BEEFING up their GOP cover up crews, not adding voices of dissent or even moderates.

That proves they are NOT interested in their audience's opinions, they are interested in controlling future perception, no matter what.

2. You're both making very good points.
Your post and the orignal post are dead-on.

They see a democratic revolution coming, and they want their people already in place to attack it and nit-pick it to death when it happens.

3. It's not going to work.
I truly believe that once the tide of public opinion turns, it's extremely difficult to regain the trust, even through their best efforts of propoganda and lies. The only thing that may work is fear....another attack.....

5. It also proves they aren't interested in scandal, or making a profit off

of scandalous news. That was one of their excuses awhile ago, about not reporting the boring business of our community. They said if they didn't report the scandals they would lose viewers. Well, there are plenty of scandals they aren't reporting now, looks like they aren't really interested in boosting viewership after all.
Profit is not their motive, just pure corporate propaganda outlets, they'll get their profits in their other ventures, their media outlets are for propaganda only.
Their excuses have evaporated.

Edit: any scandals they do report are of the misdirecting kind, like missing young white women.

8. Exactly right - they would say the public wants to hear it so they
give them what they want. Now the public wants to hear the truth about what's happening in our country, and the media reacts by adding more liars for Bush to their lineup. Going AGAINST the demand.

7. This may backfire
If people are less supportive of the RW, and then see members of the RW everywhere, it will just REMIND them of why they were feeling less supportive of the RW in the first place.

Plus, ratings will go down.

13. it really is odd, isn't it?
Keith's numbers are going up, Bush's are going down, so... obviously the public wants to hear MORE right-wing spew.

:wtf:

They must think we're still hankering to hear the same old shit, just from new and exciting faces.

Most people are still unaware of how MUCH they control.
