1. hmmm... no category for spiritual
I make a distinction between spiritual and religious. I'm not a religious person, but I am a spiritual one. ;-)

I'm also Gnostic.

Edited to quote an old friend...

I love spiritual people, but religious people scare the hell out of me!

4. I agree
I can't stand religion but believe in God, Divine Consciousness, whatever...Spiritual, yes. Religious a profound NO.

7. well....I'll join the chorus...
I am spiritual and content, and here's a quote from an AA meeting...
"Religion is for people who are afraid of going to hell, spirituality is for people who have already been there."

13. Very happy atheist here
I can honestly say that my life turned profoundly happier the day I finally walked away from religion (and spirituality).

Trying to somehow squish those beliefs into my profoundly rational brain just never did mesh, and constantly trying to make it work was just sad.

The past 20 atheistic years have been filled with peace, love and joy.
