Bush's poll numbers are sinking - not like a stone, but like the side of a mountain. Brave men in leadership positions in our armed forces are voicing dissent. Americans in statehouse across the country are calling for bills of impeachment. Rush and Sean sound querulous and disoriented as they keep trying to defend the indefensible.

32% approval rating?! We are REJECTING Bush. He does not reflect the majority of Americans. We KNOW that we are not pre-emptive warriors, we know that we are not torturers, we know that we believe in the Constitution. We have talked to our fathers, who fought off evil in the past. We have seen ourselves too long as wearing white hats and representing the forces of good in the world to toss off those hats so dismissively to fight for . . .? What? A new world order? An oiltacracy? a theocracy? an oligarchy?

Hang on world, the real America is about to re-emerge! We are all waking up from our national nightmare.

I don't think the Republicans have given up, and we can expect them to fight viciously, but there's a lot of reasons to be optimstic.

4. We've been right all along

haven't we. It sure has taken a lot to move public opinion, but it seems to be happening. Slowly....like the Titanic turning to avoid the iceberg.

Another thing is....once opinion does start to turn, past misdeeds and issues can come back to a more receptive audience. DSM, Medicare lies, energy task force, resignation letters of diplomats, etc....all should climb out of the memory hole and be examined again.

It would be good for Cindy Sheehan to ask again: "What was the noble cause my son died for?"

consider what people are going to say when its revealed that in the '02 congressionals, 3 gopigs were elected by exactly 18181 (?) votes! It is so obvious that the fix was in, and someone screwed up (or was teasing bush plague-of-locusts hq!)
expect that the bush protection team heavyweights (in the msn) will be quietly retiring any day now :)

WE who have seen through this Administration's lies from the beginning are now being joined by our fellow citizens.

WE anti-Bush, anti-NeoCons, anti-war, anti-torture Americans are now THE MAJORITY!

Yes, it took a long time for some of our fellow countrymen to realize the truth, but THAT time has come - and it's a movement that is growing stronger every day.

The Repubs are on the defensive, and on the run (from Bush and all he stands for). And the voters out there who traditionally vote GOP now KNOW, without question, WHO TO THANK for $3-per-gallon gas, energy bills through the roof, nothing but death and destruction in Iraq, and the loss of their jobs.

Don't hear much BRAGGING from the Republicans these days about how they control the Senate, the Congress and the White House - do you now?
