Mainstream Christians Protested: "Who Would Jesus Bomb?"

BEFORE THE IRAQ INVASION! Quakers and Episcopalians and this DU'er who personally posted flyers on telephone poles in front of every Mainstream Protestant Church in my "small city." (I had to do something...and with a staple gun and rubber gloves...I did what I was "called" as a Christian to do.)

I have such grief that I and others couldn't stop that INVASION...no matter what efforts we did. I had hopes that just one little kid in the backseat of the car would see my flyer and QUESTION...and grow UP TO QUESTION...because of what i did. (I know...I'm a hopeless romantic when it comes to Democracy)

But, that's Yesterday..and "bitterness/rancor" just isn't going to be what folks want to hear to "Move Forward."

So....I'm thinking about a new Christian ACTION!

This is my Flyer Concept:

"Iraq was Bombed in Jesus Name..but should Iran be NEXT?"


I have access to many churches who aren't "Mainstream" where I live. I prefer to target the MAINSTREAM...because I still believe as a "member" that they have retained a "conscience."

Should I target the Fundies...with "Telephone Poll" Flyers with this message? Is there a more "Clever Message" I could use to target what has to be some kind of Conscience of a Christian for the killing and torture this Administration backed by it's Neo-Con Regime has brought into the world....IN OUR NAME!!! :cry: IN OUR NAME...AS CHRISTIANS...who ARE NOT "Fundamentalists!"

3. American Christians should take any chance to stop the war in

Iraq. Bush publicly claimed that God(your God as well) told him to do this.....and he won the election in 2000 and 2004 because of the Christian vote.
