Sam Seder is on Fire Again!

It doesn't get said enough, but Sam is really good at what he does. I do think Sam will become one of the Liberals best radio talk show hosts as he gets seasoned. Hell... he's already one of my top favs.

And I don't always think insults are bad. But the difference between Janeane and someone like Malloy is that Malloy's insults come from a really human place. It's common to hear Malloy repeat the latest right wing atrocity, and follow it up with, "You bastards!" It's the cry of a feeling person.

Janeane doesn't come from that place. Janeane is endlessly outraged at how stupid right wingers are, and she brings a smug sense of self-superiority to the table that really is unpleasant after repeated listening. In that sense, she reminds me of a lot of right wing hosts who exhibit the same narcissistic outrage about how stupid they think liberals are.

And Janeane is a bit of a bully, too. She's rude to Sam, rude to the engineers helping with the show, rude to the guests. I never feel like I learn anything from Janeane, because she's so into herself... but I also feel like Janeane never learns anything either. And because she has such a need to be the center of attention, she stops other people from learning anything as well.

It's funny, because I remember the first night of the Majority Report, I was really excited to listen to Janeane, and a little disappointed that they'd paired her up with this Sam Seder character -- who the heck was he? I just wanted to hear Janeane.

Now I can't wait for the day that Sam Seder gets his own show, and Janeane is set free to move on to whatever else she wants to do.

a clip from the idiot's speech today re: illegal immigrants and "jobs 'Mericans won't do" This idiot is so far out of the loop on anything he is made to speak about, it so very obvious! And so very embarrassing. What were those in the audience thinking while this C student was spewing his words of "wisdom" on illegal immigrants? One wonders about them. :crazy:

Sam Seder is just awesome. He's got all the fire of Malloy combined with all the facts of Franken. Honestly, I think it's time the Majority Report was put to bed -- let Janeane go do whatever she wants -- and introduce America to "The Sam Seder Show".

Sam is awesome. I love when he does the show alone. I don't feel that Janeane adds anything to the show. She goes on and on psychoanalyzing the right wing to the point of nausea. If Sam is off that night, I don't listen to the show, I have no interest.
