I want the citizens of Iran to know that we recognize the democratic process was not fairly representative of the voters and that you are fighting to have your collective voices heard..

Please, don't fear the United States...we stand with you, citizens of Iran, in your struggle to achieve a true democratic government. We will support your grassroots efforts and keep the diplomatic options open, happily including having ongoing dialog with the "wicked crazy" leadership currently in charge of your emerging democratic government, since we, in the U.S., know that you can't judge a country by its leader."
