Republicans no longer like polls..:)
FORGET THE POLLS AND JUST REMEMBER:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1620816/posts?q=1&&page=201

PRESIDENT GEORGE W BUSH IS PERSONALLY POPULAR!. . . The new LATimes/Bloomberg poll (which oversamples Democrats by double digits) puts the President's 'PERSONAL APPROVAL' rating at 61% as compared to Clinton's highest 'Personal Approval' rating of 42% for this same poll!!

The recent Battleground Poll discovered the same 'Personal Approval' rating for the President and identified this rating as the greatest hope for Republicans moving forward to the 2006 election. above 40%!]

Bottomline: The MAJORITY of people in this country LIKE President George W Bush and will listen to his message IF and when they actually 'hear' it. Unfortunately, the MSM (right and left) is working overtime to 'black out' and 'counter spin' the President, making it VERY difficult for him to communicate directly with the American people.

Despite these difficulties, George W Bush will continue as president for 2 1/2 more years; during which time, he will ignore the polls and do what's best for the long term security and prosperity of our country! May God continue to bless our great Dissident in Chief!

At this stage in his presidency, popularity is not the goal -- effecting TRANSFORMATIONAL change for the LONG TERM peace and prosperity of this nation is!]

HEADS UP: IGNORE the polls particularly during this spring and summer -- as long as gas prices are high, the president's JA rating will be low. Just remember, IT'S NOT ABOUT THE POLLS; IT'S ABOUT THE FUTURE!!

3. Well, I personally *like* the Downs Syndrome child on my street. . .
talk to him often and share snacks and drinks -- he helps me wash my car and I pay him well for it. But much as I like Tommy I recognize his limitations and don't let him do things where he could hurt himself or harm my family or home. I'd ask the same of George. He can polish the silver and sweep the red carpet, but I'd prefer he keep away from the letter opener and the nuclear football. He's done a fine job keeping his pants wet these past five years, let's just keep him away from anything that can break, like budgets and treaties, levees and the Bill of Rights.

You know why he can't get stuff done? Because, he absolutely is alone up there. All of the "conservatives" have chosen to destroy the man because they can each find an issue he does not handle to their liking. All of our elite "elected GOP congress members" are too busy playing their power games and pandering to the "friends" on the other side to be bothered supporting their president. All of the "public" are ignorant minions of the media that learn by being told what to think or, if conservative, they don't fight with him - the expect him to do all of it and they just complain giving no support. They can't abide having to speak up and join the fight - they expect him to fight for them. And, so they complain and join in the masses destroying the man. So, you get what you worked daily to get - an ineffective president, trying all by himself to run a war, fight the liberals, fight the shadow government, defend himself from impeachment, and counter the liberal media intent on destroying him. Just name one man who could get anything done with absolutely everybody against him? Where were you when you were needed to fight with him? I'll bet - you were plugging along post after post complaining how he just was not good enough. So, now you get to worry about who will do better than George Bush at fighting the whole world to try and run this country. You have done your part in destroying the man. It is now done - thanks to those like you and the rest of us not smart enough to figure a way to counter all the forces against a GOP president and the power of the anti-American/anti-GOP media. Now, be happy with what you have achieved.
WRITE THAT ONE ON A ROCK, CLANCY! BRAVO!

10. The last refuge of a scoundrel....

Fascinating. In a "I'm having a lovely day here at the Zoo" way.

against him?"

How about Bill Clinton. He had the hounds of hell against him from the day he stepped foot in the WH, and he did a superior job.

THE WHOLE WORLD IS OUT OF STEP except him and his loyalists.

These delusional fools are now dangerous. (The ones that were sending hate mail to young DUer eva might come crawling out from behind their keyboards, their rage is such.)

polls.

When your guy is ahead or your adversary's numbers are in the shitter, the partisan will hold the poll up to a very high standard.

When they see a poll they dislike, the partisan will scream about "oversampling" or bias in the polling company or some other such nonsense.

Its an fun cycle to watch, and its nice to see our side stand with pollsters for the first time in about 5 years.

9. That light they see at the end of the tunnel

is the headlight of the oncoming locomotive.....

As for "transformational change", about the only thing conservatives can achieve in that department is national bankrupcy. And they're doing their darndest to achieve it.

They're in for a bunch of really really bad years, these doofuses.

16. When Bush's poll numbers were up, Sean Insannity
would gloat about them. But now that they are falling, the asshat says that Bush doesn't govern by polls, so they don't make any difference.
