First, he wants EVERY rape victim to be tested for drugs and alcohol -- with or without her consent. So, I guess if a woman is passed out drunk, it's not really rape. :grrr: Or, if she's high, you really can't believe her if she says she was raped.

Then, he's talking about the Pulitzers. Do you know why Fox hasn't won? They don't submit anything because the contest is rigged in favor of the left-wing media -- a point with which the guy from the Washington Times agrees.

Really funny book, I recommend it highly.

Funny thing about O'Reilly and prizes. It's so obvious that he is soooo eager to receive one and be taken for a serious journalist rather than the tabloid entertainer that he was/is/and always will be. He used to go around saying his old show, a tabloid sleazefest called Inside Edition, won 2 Peabody Awards, to try and refute people who called said tabloid sleazefest a tabloid sleazefest rather than a serious news program. Turns out this was another one of his lies. The show of course never won any Peabodies. It won something called a "Polk Award," and even that was only after O'Reilly was long gone from the show.

O'Reilly protests too much. Agan, it's obvious he yearns for highbrow acceptance, but since he is the ultimate in lowbrow he knows he'll never get it and has to make excuses as to the real reason why. Pathetic.

Incidentally, even his lowbrow audience has shrunk in about half since his peak of around March 2003, a very steep drop in a very short period.
