I understand these countries are the ones producing much of the gas in this world. But, it still seems to me that this is "Highway Robbery"! The rulers of these countries, who GWB kiss and hold hands with, are making a killing, while we struggle to make ends meet.

Gas prices are a lot higher elsewhere in the world. OK, there are some places in the world where they’re lower also. But even more than a year ago, in March 2005, CNN Money reported that drivers in Amsterdam, were paying $6.48 per gallon of gas. In Milan, the price of gas was $5.96 and, in London, it was $5.79.
On the other hand, CNN Money also reported drivers in
Riyadh paying 91 cents a gallon. That was bested by gas at 78 cents a gallon in Kuwait City and 12 cents a gallon in Caracas. I knew there was something I liked about Venezuela.
Well, folks, don’t expect gas prices in this country to come down anytime soon. Take a good, hard look at the cheap-gas places. They’re all in oil-producing nations.
