Buxh's latest gift to Big Oil

Releasing crude from the Strategic Oil Reserve.

After the price (and profit margin) for gas at the pump tops $3.00 per gallon Buxh hands them free oil to refine that was bought and paid for by..... the US taxpayers.

Then we get the predicted line from the WH that "this wont bring down the price at the pump, ay least not right away".

I haven't heard officially that the crude will be a true gift, but I'll never believe that cash will flow from Exxon into Ft Knox.

I now see the news is that he will stop adding oil to the reserve.
Still, this gives the oil companies more oil at a time that profits are at their highest.

I have to learn to wake up and get more caffiene in me before I post.

Additionally, Bush said he would ask the EPA to temporarily ease clean air regulations that have caused gas shortages in some portions of the Northeast. There have been media reports of shortages as producers switch over to cleaner-burning summer blends.
