New ARG poll is a new low for Bush

The Americdan Research Group gives Bush a 34% approval rating with 60% disapproval. This is down from a 37-57 disapproval rating in March. This is a new low for ARG. This is pretty much in line with Fox which has Bush at 33% and Gallup which has him at 32%.

among Republicans 73% approve of Bush/ 22% disapprove.
Among Democrats 7% approve/ 87% disapprove.
Independents give Bush a 68-26 disapproval rating.

On the economy 31% approve of Bush's performance and 64% disapprove.

1. Just a little clarification about CNN's poll numbers.

Gallup dropped CNN recently, and the poll they reported yesterday, with Bush at 32%, was done by Opinion Research.

It's not the CNN/Gallup Poll any more. The banner over Bill Schneider's head on Lou Dobbs' show said CNN/ Opinion Research.
