These are from that "other conservative site"(not FreeRepublic) the thread is entitled "How Many Here Have Been In Combat?" posted by a veteran and a democrat, who's service these fools obviously do not respect. You will have to search over there if you wish to see it, I will not post a link. The bigotry and hatred in these posts is absolutely unbelievable. It looks like they have people from Stormfront cross posting over there. In fact I'll bet every member of this "Conservative" board are also members of the Ku Klux Klan. Normally I would not repost these but the level of violence in these posts is terrorism. This really needs to be reported. The proper authorities need to be alerted.

I just went quickly through the replies in that thread, and here is the count I came up with:

5 non-combat vets
10 combat vets, 5 of those have been in Iraq, one returned just last week.
2 active duty, one of which is a young female who has volunteered to soon deploy to Iraq.
4 with children who are or have been in Iraq, one a female who was wounded.
1 spouse of combat vet.

I suspect there are a few more who have not replied.

That's a respectable number for such a small message board.

Progressive Independent has roughly 500 members, but there are about 20 that I know of (and I don't know that many members) that are vets/military family. Is that nasty conservative board that you are defending smaller than 500 total members?


When DU has a vet/active duty rollcall, we generally have about 500 muster, but that is really not the point. What gets every one of US progressive Dems is the amount of pro-war bush*bot lovin' repukes who refuse to serve and pretend as though there aren't liberal Dems who haven't fought & died/injured in past wars and whose blood is currently being spilled for bush* and his cabal of war profiteers.
