It's the credit cards that have done it. I pay mine out every month I use it and I use it very sparingly. I'm a Child of the Great Depresssion with one helluva memory.

5. The TV Commercials say it all

Most commercials are either for credit cards, equity loans, or a pill guaranteed to make us happy. That is what we have become, depressed overweight hypochondriacs over our heads in debt.

I love the one with the guy describing all the cool things he has, then says "I'm in debt up to my eyeballs. Help me please". The solution, an equity mortage. He should move his unsecured debt to his house mortage. WTF

Is a show on PBS did a great show on the credit card companies that was played awhile back. I am sure it is just as good or better than this movie. You might still be able to watch it on the PBS website.
