China calls on US to crackdown on Falungong after heckling
Edited on Wed Apr-26-06 08:48 AM by newyawker99
BEIJING, April 25, 2006 (AFP) - China asked Tuesday how a Falungong member was allowed to breach security and heckle President Hu Jintao during his US visit, and urged Washington to take firmer action against the group.

"As to how the Falungong member snuck into the welcoming ceremony, you should ask the US side. Such an incident happened despite the US being famous for its tight security," foreign ministry spokesman Qin Gang told reporters.

Wang Wenyi, 47, repeatedly yelled slogans such as "Falun Dafa (Falungong) is good" and "President Bush, stop him from persecuting the Falungong" while Hu made his opening remarks on the White House lawn last week.

Wang was later identified as a reporter for the Falungong supporting Epoch Times who used a temporary press pass to get into the media section of the ceremony held to mark Hu's meeting with US President George W. Bush.

Bush later apologised to Hu for the incident and Wang was charged with seeking to "intimidate, coerce, frighten or harass" Hu.

Qin said Wang's actions should convince the United States that China's opinion of Falungong was correct.

10. And it likely will.
But in the meantime, it increasingly owns us, so it will practice on us first.

8. WOW! The Peoples Republic says the USA is 'famous for it's tight security'
HELLO!?!?!?!

ANYONE?

The most repressive fascist "Totalitarian State" in the history of mankind
actually thinks that B*shCabal™'s USA is BETTER
at repressing FreeSpeech than they are!

They see protesters every so often back home in CommunistChina,
but they were SHOCKED to see one here!!!

We could stop importing oil altogether...
if we could only find a way to harness the power
of all our 1776-era 'Founding Fathers"
SPINNING IN THEIR GRAVES!!!!!!

9. We own you, so it's time you did our bidding on something important to us.
And you're coming along so nicely in the repression department, you can take a practice swing at the Falungong before cracking down on all your domestic rebels. You better get cracking or your own government may be brought down, maybe even before January 2009 when the fools expect you to turn your government over to others.

Yeah, I can understand how the Chinese would see it -- I have plenty of practice at observing how the Republicans see it.

11. It's called free speech, Mr. Hu
And Bush should be defending it, not apologizing for it.

But then, his rallies were never bastions of free speech either, so what do I expect.

16. China is a GOP wet dream right now.
Naked, raw greed and a labor pool happy to work for sweatshop wages. Factory owners who structure facilities like prisons. All forms of expression, media and communication screened by government censors. No environmental safeguards to speak of, and ultimate authority resting with a single party government ruled by force.

It's everything they have ever wanted, the envy is palpable. They can't make this country a part of China fast enough.

China's present, and our future:

17. Look China
The Secret Service is over worked from keeping all those that hate Bush away. For Christ's sake, there is so many of them that hate Bush, they even have to utilize local, state, and federal law enforcement and the military to keep them all away. The U.S. just doesn't have the resources to accommodate two thin skinned Beloved Leaders.
