A friend is very worried about what Bush's* sinking poll numbers
could mean. She is afraid of another terrorist attack or bird flu scare or nuking Iran or something crazy that Bush will do to round up his formerly faithful followers. And my friend, well, she's a conservative! Anyone else know conservatives who are really worried?

14. Ahh yes, the "robocruiser"....
the Vincennes. Shot down an Iranian airliner... mis-identifying it as an Iranian F-14. Killed about 300 people.

From the US.....Ooops! My bad.

Man, I sure hope those folks with a cultural heritage of blood revenge aren't pissed at us. Oh, well.... that was a long time ago, and I'm sure they must have forgotten by now.... like most American have.

2. Bunker mentality is a real threat.
I agree. He has become dangerous as a wounded animal. And he was dangerous as it was before!

3. I Don't Think It Has Anything To Do With His Poll Numbers
It has to do with his agenda. If a terrorist attack will aide his agenda to Nuke Iran, then there's reason for concern. But I don't find the poll numbers to be relevant.

6. A bad hurricane (or series of them) is inevitable this season
with increased global warming and warmer water in the South Atlantic and the Caribbean and Gulf. Maybe the inevitable Chertoff Screw Up will postpone Bush's "show."

A "Silver Lining" in the Storm Clouds.

5. Sorry, but I have independent friends who think W funded
the 9/11 attacks indirectly through his world corporatists and these friends also are very worried.

It's a very sad day when we have zero trust in our government. W's legacy.

who knows what will happen.

I wonder how they contact him to request another tape?

10. I'm very worried about it.
Something's got to happen. They've got to do something to prevent losing lots of 'R' seats in November. They can't afford to have honest fair elections where every vote gets counted accurately, because they will lose the majority. There's too much at risk. They don't want to go to prison. And, faced with that (losing power and control), this group is capable of ANYTHING.

They may attack us again. They may start a Nuclear war, or it could be a natural disaster. Who knows? Something has got to happen to save them from losing in November.

The one thing that sticks in the back of my mind is the idea they'll postpone elections due to some disaster or national security reason... and then they start arresting dissenters and putting them in the detention centers they're building now. I don't put anything past them. I am dreading the next 6-7 months. It will be a highly volatile time.

11. That is why we have to keep talking up those possibilites to immunize
the public against those happenings. We must make it impossible for the Bushites to pull any of that crap. Everything they could possible do has to be "predicted" and said aloud over and over so that they cannot feel safe about trying to get away with another distraction, and more bullshit phony distractions.

12. The closer it gets to November the more we have to worry.
They'll pull some really ugly rabbit out of their hat before the November elections. Perhaps another major, domestic terror attack; perhaps dropping a nuke or 40 on Iran (and Bush is evil & crazed enough to do it); something to divert the public's attention and try to save the Republican majority in Congress. Of course good old election rigging, voter disinfranchisement and fraud has worked for them in the past.
