Is There a Limit to the Anger We Should Feel Towards The Current Administer

For me there is not a limit, at least I have not reached that limit. Everyday since December 2000 it has been one more outrage. Everyday since December 2000 there has been one more criminal offense by this administration.

So today when Capital Hill Blue, the Rant, offered an apology for being over the top in criticism, I find it a tad lame. For me there is no over-the-top when it comes to Bush and company. There is nothing that they can be accused of that I would dispute. If someone were to tell me that they were biting heads off of puppies, I would only ask what time it occurred.

For me there is nothing that is beyond them. They are curs, scoundrels and criminals. The whole lot, which includes every republican that has drawn a breath in the last decade.

This administration deserves every ounce of anger, rage, and disgust that I can muster and direct toward them. :grr:

When Clinton was President, the GOP attack machine was vicious and ruthless. They not only unnecessarily knocked him down, they kicked him and stepped on his throat when he was on the floor. I don't remember the media stepping back and saying "Gee, was that too much?"

So why are they doing that now for this President?

8. Quite a bit of our anger at Bush et al is not anger for the sport of

venting it but anger from feeling that he and his administration have cravenly and dishonestly debased the people's office.

Dick Gephardt called Bush "a miserable failure," not because Dick Gephardt is an acid-tongued hot-head but because his vision of the power and privilege of governance is decidedly higher than Bush's, and he was wounded in our behalf that Bush had disgraced the position.

If someone does well, that can be acknowledged, even if it's on the red side. But of late, the red candidates and the red party have debased and smeared their way through the halls of Congress and the White House, and I believe the voters will turn many of them out in November 06 and 08.
