When are we going to start giving credit to Cheney and Bush for their
wonderful "energy policy" that resulted in the passage of a bill thay all bragged about?

"In short, the Bush and Cheney’s energy plan is a massive corporate subsidy program that promotes nonrenewable sources of energy, pays back the Big Energy corporations that helped bankroll their campaign, and jeopardizes the welfare of ourselves and our environment."

1. Cheney/Bush own the Energy Policy we are living with
I remember conservation groups screaming their little heads off in 2001 when Cheney invited oil companies to the WH to write the country's energy plan. Everyone else was locked out of these secret meetings. The media, the legal system and most of the public ignored the travesty.

And the plan played out with a war, obscene profits, higher prices for consumers at the pump and the grocery store, and a roll-back of environmental regulations.

We should have stopped it in 2001. But we didn't.

3. Information from the meetings were released in dribs and drabs
dragged out over months and years, kind of like the Abu Ghraib situation.

4. This is the latest info I could find on that. It hasn't been in the news
lately that I can recall. The Supreme Court doesn't think it's necessary for this information to be made public. Wonder if that had anything to do with that Cheney/Scalia duck hunting trip. Nah!

5. The same Supreme Court that let Bush steal the election in 2000
They were accomplices in fact.
