Players will no longer face a crushing rent bill by landing on a hotel-equipped Boardwalk in a new Monopoly game.
Instead, it could be Times Square, the Golden Gate Bridge, the White House or Fenway Park.
The Monopoly Here and Now edition will feature attractions from 22 cities. Online voters are getting a chance to get their favorite local street or landmarkj on an updated version of the classic board game.
The overall top vote-getter will replace the high-rent blue space held by Boardwalk on the traditional board. And the top choice from each city gets a spot on the board.
Voting started Monday and ends May 12 at the Monopoly Web site.
