I just wanted to throw this general meme out here:

If noone bothers to contradict you, it doesn't necessarily mean you are right. It could also be that you are boring, kicking a dead horse, in territory so inconsequential noone cares, so utterly wrong that people think you beyond help, or preaching solely to the converted.

Just in case some folks out there weren't aware of that fact.

As far as context, I think pointing that out generally tends to detract from metacognosis. So instead of wondering that, I just ask that people ponder how it applies to themselves individually.
