Funny story I heard on NPR about Bette Davis.
When Bette Davis and Joan Crawford were picked to act in "Whatever happen to Baby Jane",
everybody knew the sparks were gonna' fly.
They didn't care for each other to start with and soon they were lifelong enemies. :)
It got so bad that the stage hands would stop one of them if the other one was going
to be in the vicinity.

Years later..when Joan died, reporters asked Bette what she thought.. (As usual, Bette came up with a classic)

She said: Well..Daaarling, I learned at an early age to not speak ill of the dead..Only Good things...so..
Joan is Dead..Good.

Geez..

1. Burt Reynolds told a similar story once
He had somehow become friends with Bette Davis and was going to see her one night, which happened to be the same night Joan Crawford died. He said that Ms. Davis showed up in a bright red dress and said to him, "Well, the bitch is dead!"

2. You are thinking we could use this for Bush and Rove and BFEE?
"If and When" they finally go down? :D

I agree with some DU'ers that it's more like "Dracula." Stick a stake in them...for fear they rise from the dead once again....

3. That reminds me...
I never did see the stake in Nixon's heart.
