16. They usually come through Raleigh.
Hope the list is just preliminary with more dates to come.

2. They played in NJ the night Nixon resigned
I hope they will be playing again the night Bush resigns.

That would be awesome.

3. They have been touring every summer since 1492
Sometimes with Neil Young, sometimes without him. But a summer tour is not a new deal for this band.

11. They've lasted longer than Jerry Garcia did
And I loved Jerry but Neil Young is the true King of Rock and Roll and a musical God. Oh Graham, David and Steven are awesome also.

15. It's an age thing I guess.
Great isn't it. We had all the good bands and fortunately some of them still get together again. Don't think the same will said of many of the bands or artists who followed on much after the seventies. I'm sure the CSNY tour will be released on DVD - don't their harmonies just make you purr like a cat.

Some good combos coming about now as well - I'd already ordered the Emmylou Harris and Mark Knopler CD just on recommendation and Springsteen with Seeger and co. arrived yesterday.

17. I'm probably younger than most of the music I love
at 37, in the eighties when I was in high school and should have been listening to Hair metal or horrible pop (some of which I really dig now for some reason lol) I was exploring my Dead, Doors and Zeppelin and going to as many shows of these remaining bands as I could. Used to host a "bedtime with the Beatles" feature on the radio show I used to do. I was in heaven.

13. That was their comeback tour.
It's like I'm living my early twenties over again.

9. Bet I know what the theme of the tour is gonna be . . . .
This should make the concert in the 70s (Four Way Street era) look like a warm-up act.

18. "Find the cost of freedom"
You'll get to hear plenty of real Buffalo Springfield tunes too I'd wager.
