9. Indicted doesn't begin to cover what I wish would happen
to KKKarl Rove. Of course, it's beyond the bounds of good taste to say what I really think, but I suspect most of you are psychic enough to guess well enough--even well enough I might even prefer your lists.

12. No way!
Tomorrow's Friday. If he gets indicted on Friday afternoon, the story goes out the window as a Friday news dump.

I say, let Turd Blossom have one last weekend of freedom -- then the hammer comes down first thing Monday morning! :bounce:

18. No. And for good reason
I want it to happen MONDAY, so all the idiot talking heads can try deny it's going to happen, then it happens, and it's more difficult to hide in the friday news dump, and it'll have a solid week of coverage.

Friday indictments suck, I wish Fitzy would quit that part.

19. No, I don't necessarily wish that Rove will be indicted tomorrow.
Libby was indicted for perjury and obstruction, and when Fitzgerald held his press conference about it, he said that, a) the case involves grave national security matters, and b) Libby is obstructing his investigation. That is why he charged him.

So, what I HOPE is happening is that Fitzgerald has Rove by the short hairs on perjury and obstruction, and that Rove--in order to AVOID an indictment of himself--is squealing on the higher perpetrators of the main crime (and/or on Libby, as to the main crime).

I do NOT hope that we now have TWO people obstructing the investigation--Libby covering up for Cheney (and possibly Rumsfeld), and Rove covering up for Bush (and possibly Rice). If Rove is still lying and obstructing, of course I hope for his indicatment. But that is not the best outcome I can think of--of the recent grand jury activity.

I think that what we can know of this situation right now points more to Rove squealing--and, agonizing as the wait may be, this may be better in the end, better for exposing this criminal regime, and better for the country.
