CNN Poll on Hillary Clinton vs. Hillary Rodham Clinton! WTF???

Ok, this reminds me of some backwater Arkansas stuff, when some people were more concerned about Hillary Clinton's name than they were her husband's policies as Governor.

CNN actually has a poll on whether people like Hillary Clinton or Hillary Rodham Clinton better. WTF?

Why on earth would CNN commission a poll on what name combination (Hillary Clinton vs. Hillary Rodham Clinton) people prefer her to use?

Is this what our media has been reduced to?

Including Hillary Clinton's maiden name increased her approval rating among Republicans polled to 23 percent. "Hillary Clinton" had a 16 percent approval rating among people who identified themselves as Republican.(View full results) ...
The name seemed to matter little to Democrats; the inclusion of "Rodham" inspired only a 1 percent decrease in her approval rating, from 77 to 76 percent.

2. Truly amazing, isn't it?

Like I said, it just goes to show how much further we have to go as women in this society.

These are the kinds of issues she had to contend with as First Lady of Arkansas; whether or not to use her maiden name, etc.

It's really no one's business but she and her husband's, if she chooses to just go by Hillary Rodham, Hillary Rodham Clinton, or Hillary Clinton.

As someone with a journalism degree, I'm just very angry at CNN for even commissioning such a B.S. poll.

I thought of it as a stupidity issue...whatever you call her she's the same woman, the same candidate. I don't see how the name affects anything, within the realm of policy and work.
