Didn't someone say that Iran would nuke the USA in twelve days...about twelve days ago?

Odd that we haven't heard an update.

2. Yes. They were going to have the capability to nuke us in 16 days. . .
if they could get another 16,500 accelerators on line (they already had 58!). Once they have the technology, they'd only need to process enough fissible material for a bomb, master the engineering necessary to construct it, develop a rudimentary delivery system capable of sub-orbital flight and the means to propel itself halfway around the planet (while being careful not to infringe on any other nation's airspace, to avoid potential third-party retribution), and somehow -- in all this -- manage to keep below US defenses and strike a cowardly blow without being detected before or suspected after the fact.

Truly, we are all in imminent peril.

And as we cannot possibly hope the current US arsenal of 30,000+ nuclear weapons can effectively function as either a deterent or in retribution, we citizens are pretty much on our own. My neighbor and I are building a nuclear submarine in his koi pond. We won't be caught unawares!

3. Actually, they have already
We just haven't realised it yet, at least I'm sure that some right wing maniac is promulgating on some nutty radio show.

6. Bush did say if a country had nukes it planned to use them
In some way. Like pushing others around if you had them, blowing up things or some thing. It is like saying and 'all those other idiots' I guess. I am sure that our stockpile of nukes, with Bush in office, does not leave the world at ease if it ever was. I am not so sure the rest of the world thought we would never use them as, after all, even our friends have made them for them self, and we are the country that has used them on others. It is really getting hard to say one thinks any of these nuts will not do some fool thing any more.
