Young drops bomb on prez: New album rips Bush, war on Iraq

Neil Young has fired a musical missile right at the Bush administration.

The veteran singer-songwriter’s politically charged new album, “Living With War” - streaming at http://www.neilyoung.com beginning today and in stores Tuesday - delivers a stinging indictment of the U.S. president and the war in Iraq.

In a recent interview with CNN, Young acknowledged that not everyone would agree with his message, and said his aim was “exchanging ideas.”“It’s about empowering people by giving them a voice,” he said. “I know not everyone believes what I say is what they think. But like I said before, you know, red and blue is not black and white. We’re all together. It’s a record about unification.”

While Kanye West likely will get the message, we’re guessing Dubya’s more of a Skynyrd man.

8. Skynyrd did a song not long ago which could be considered

either way - "Red, White and Blue" . . . where the singer says "My neck's always been red, my " something " is white, my collar is blue" . . . reason it didn't pick up too well is because it was not CLEARLY pro-Bush, pro-war . . .

It seems everybody wants in to listen. If W is impeached, maybe Neil's next album will incude an old Democratic favorite "HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN"!
