Do the excuses for high gas prices sound familiar? |

The excuses I’m hearing for the current gas crisis sound so very familiar:
-It’s not our fault the price of oil/electricity is high--it’s just market forces at work.
-Okay, so we’re raking in vast piles of money, but our profit margin is really very slim.
-There aren’t enough refineries/power plants because environmentalists wouldn’t let us build them.
-We had to take refineries/power plants off line for maintenance.
-People are just using too much oil/electricity.
California in early 2001 was just a practice run for what they're doing to us now.

fixing the problem. It took liberal Dem's to fix it back then with new ideals and new thinking. Oh yeah thats right theres no longer liberal Dem's to call pukes on it. The pukes own all 3 braches of government because of stupid homophobes.

2. Supply and demand is bullshit |

And they know it, that's why they are going balls to the wall with gouging us. Short term Corporate mentality at its finest. It's the Enron / California playbook all over again.
