Was DU down earlier today? I can't find any threads on it, and I'd like

make up a user name with random numbers and letters,
and put in random numbers and letters for any personal info.

Another question: There was another DU URL that had "upload" or something in it. Aparently, that was the fallback server, and it generally worked when DU was down. Does anyone here recall the details?

10. Thanks very much! I know that I got an unknown error page when I

tried to click on GD, LBN, and other forums, before I realized DU was probably down, but I've no idea why or how. Just hope it wasn't anything intentional. Yes, I can be paranoid!
