Gas prices Clinton's fault
I listen to Hannity on the way home from work. Today he said he had done his research and the high gas prices are due to Clinton's refusal to drill in ANWAR. I know this guy is a Moron. I known he repeats repug talking points on a daily basis. Is there someone out there who does Hannity fact checking? Why do people believe him when he says that the economy is improving? Do people forget what it costs to fill up their gas tank? My sister is still refusing to talk bad about her beloved president. He is a man of faith.........

5. Everything is Clinton's fault....
..the Repukes and their mouthpieces are grasping at straws....It's desparation - pure and simple....

What's with this ANWR thing anyway - they have been trying for over a decade to get their drills in there - why? According to experts there is roughly 6 months worth of Oil up there. All this for 6 months worth of Oil?
What else is up there that they want to get their greedy, grubby paws on?

There Uranium deposits up there - anyone know?
Oher than that I cannot imagine what they would be after......

32. sigh, I know...
Clinton's penis did all those terrible things. Bush only SEEMS incompetent because he was set up for failure by the destruction caused by Clinton's penis.
And Clinton ran up the deficit to a trillion $, don't forget.
But that Bush, he's a sterling character. Thank Goodness he's setting the country straight. He's strengthening the middle class and bringing peace to the world.
:sarcasm:

29. "...economy, terrorism, and illegal immigration are all his fault, right?
Yes, they actually are. Or maybe they are Cheney's fault or whoever is in charge in the White House.

The economy sucks if you are poor, working class, or middle class. Of course, there are enough jobs at McDonalds and Burger King. The economy sucks for people who have compassion for others who might not be as well off.

9/11 happened on Bush's watch. His administration ignored the warnings.

Immigration: Republicans are in charge of the House, Senate, and White House (until the end of '06). Blame falls on whoever is in charge.

34. Boy, you're on the wrong site
Edited on Fri Apr-28-06 07:25 PM by William Seger
"maynard, in case you haven't checked the latest numbers,...

Well, first, what you need to do is check how those "latest numbers" are being calculated these days. Take a good whiff, and you'll have a clue where they're being pulled from.

"... the economy is still rolling even if you can't gather enough change from the couch to gas up your VW bus."

Oh, yeah, "the economy" is just "rolling" right along -- other than the fact that over half of all Americans have seen their standard of living decline since The Decider took office. Oh, but the "average" income is going up, isn't it? Well, ya know, I bet that even you could figure that one out, if you thought about it hard enough. But I guess we'll never know...

"Nevertheless, jobs are plentiful (so you can get one too if you like)..."

Really? Have you looked for one lately, or did "somebody" just tell you that? Myself, I've been laid off twice since 2000, spent a total of about a year-and-half of that time unemployed, and each time I've managed to find a job, it was for less than I had been making. I'm currently making 20% less than I was in 2000. You think I believe your bullshit?

"... housing starts are still high,..."

Seen the foreclosure stats lately? How about the bankruptcy rates?

"... and manufacturing is even increasing :-O!!"

Manufacturing what? Double Quarter-Pounders? (See paragraph 1.)

"... I think those three reasons, and others, such as the stock markets on a consistent upswing,..."

The stock market is "on a consistent upswing" because Bush's tax cuts for the rich are being pumped back into the Wall Street Casino to re-inflate the bubble. That doesn't do a damn thing for "the economy".

"... are why people believe the economy is improving"

People like you believe whatever you're told to believe by the authoritarians you worship.

"But hey, maynard, you keep that head in the sand and keep on hating President Bush,..."

Ya know, I really hate fuckin' "conservative" hypocrisy.

"...cause I'm sure the economy, terrorism, and illigal immigration are all his fault, right?"

Not his fault, so he's not obliged to actually do anything about them, right? All the problems are just PR problems, right? Doesn't matter if he says one thing and does another about every one of the things you mentioned, right? Nothing is ever his fault, but all those things have to be Clinton's fault, right? Well, am I right or am I right?

You FReeks really have no clue why Bush is so hated. You think it's just a mirror image of the way "conservatives" hated Clinton so much you built a cottage industry around making up lies about him. I'll give you a clue, for free: Your little tin horn emperor fucks up everything he touches.

"Name Removed" apparently thought that his smug, dittoheaded ignorance was sufficient rebutal to your post. I knew that message would probably get deleted pretty fast, so I quoted most of it my post; it was a great example of why we don't need "enlightenment" from FReepers on this board.

about six months AT THE BEST ESTIMATES. Drilling in ANWAR is a way for the Petroleum Mafia to (a) justify their OBSCENE profits; and (b) suck all the government juice they can while their boys are still in office. And while I'm at it, sean hannity is a fucking pig. His entire shtick is "I'm a white guy and woe is pissed off me." He offers no constructive thought whatsoever, just a parasite that feeds off of general negativity. hannity is a scumbag appealing to the lowest common denominator. It won't be long before he's arrested for doing disgusting things to small animals.
