Congressman Conyers: More on the Lawsuit to Redeem the Constitution
Edited on Fri Apr-28-06 10:32 PM by cal04
I participated in a number of talk radio shows today, mostly focused on the lawsuit we filed in Detroit challenging the Budget law that didn't pass both houses of Congress. I received a lot of support, and appreciated all the nice comments I recieved at this site, on Kos, and on Huffingtonpost. Dem Leader Nancy Pelosi also expressed her support for the legal action today. I will keep you posted as events develop. I know the Administration will do everything they can to dismiss this case before it can be heard on the merits, but the principle at stake is simply too important to ignore.

In addition to the AP article, the Hill has more DC coverage.
