Sacrameno Impeachment Forum, Saturday, April 29

A bill to begin impeachment of Bush and Cheney has been introduced in the California General Assembly (see below).

The bill's sponsor, Assembly Member Paul Koretz, will join Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Democrats.com President Bob Fertik, Center for Constitutional Rights attorney Shayana Kadidal, author and former prosecutor Elizabeth de la Vega, Iraq Veterans Against the War founder Tim Goodrich, and radio host Mike Malloy in speaking at this event:

Organized by the Progressive Caucus of the Democratic Party, concurrent with the Democratic Convention in Sacramento.

Progressive Caucus trying to collect signatures to pressure the Democratic Party to support the efforts to impeach.

Crest Theater is one block north of the State Capitol. 7 blocks east of the Amtrak Station. Buses run east on J from 3rd St. (Amtrak) to J St. and 10th St. From corner of 10th and J walk one block south (to your right) to K St. Turn left on K and you're there!

If you're driving, there is a paid public parking at 10th and L (you're in the land of one way streets so it may take some extra turns to get there) or after 6:00 p.m. meters are free. Check signs for any weird parking rules.
