They've been at it since the '80s, and maybe even before that. One of the strongest things democratically-minded people could do is to Define Morals. We need to ask is it moral to allow people to go hungry in our own nation, let alone overseas. Is it moral to kill civilians in countries whose governments were not threatening us. Is it moral to allow fear to drive us to intrude on citizens' privacy, especially those who promote peace, and to assume guilt by means of simple suspicion. There are many other similar questions that should be asked.
