5. Anyone who is surprised by this is pretty naive |
|
Of course this was how it was going to turn out. Rush has money and power, in addition to being white and male in america. The law therefore does not apply to him. It's called privilege.

6. Small consolation but at least it was dragged out in the media awhile. |
|
I think a lot more people heard about this than some of Noell Bush's similar issues.

7. I hear you. He's a rich white guy, I honestly didn't expect |
|
much to happen to him.
We can only wait for the day when he has used all his buckolas on lawyers and drugs. Gets found face down in the gutter a few times, pee stains on his expensive pants and barf on jacket. He'll do the long slide into crazy bum-hood.

Like nobody will remember?
It just means that it won't count as a strike when he commits further crimes later. Oh, and he can vote in Florida.
But nothing on the planet except a brain-stealing memory ray is going to "expunge" an arrest that was headline news.

11. my X-wife's record was expunged, her father was close to the CIA. |
|
it did take the heat of of me, she ran off with a drug dealer and 2 hookers with our toddler son.. when she got busted with 5 pounds of drugs she told her genetically psychotic family that she took the rap for 'My' drugs.. but i had previously fled to another state in fear of her nut case family about her previous obsessive compulsive lies..
she did later clean up her act and is now living a good life

9. Who'd like to see a NOW segment interviewing convicts who are |

behind bars for years because of exactly what Rush was guilty of? I sure would.

12. Again worst of all possible worlds, |
|
No prosecution, he probably would have overdosed and wound up a bigger vegetable. Prosecuted, they just give him a new diaper and no penalties. I wish we had been onto him before the law was, maybe he could have got a hold of some really good stuff.
