My challenge.....

This is kind of a mix of a tongue-in-cheek and serious suggestion. I get tired of seeing the right assign titles to certain people that they think embarrass the left or minorities.

Thus Jesse Jackson becomes “black spokesman Jesse Jackson” and so on.

My challenge to you is to spend a few moments adding a few keystrokes and/or words to add titles that project the views of well-known rightwing nuts onto the entire right any time you mention them in posts, emails or conversation. This is a strategy of the right and I think it is about time we took the hint.

So from here on Pat Robinson, James Dobson, Jerry Falwell and especially the right Reverend Fred Phelps (of “God Hates Fags” fame) will have the title “Rightwing Spokesperson.”

For example: Rightwing Spokesperson Fred Phelps and his group attempted to disrupt the funeral of a fallen soldier by claiming that she/he deserved to die because God hates gays and American will not kill all gays.

And: Rightwing Spokesperson Pat Robinson is says hurricanes are God’s retribution for opposing Bush.

Jack Abramoff, Duke Cunningham, Delay, Libby and anyone else of that ilk (and Rove, should he be charged) should always be referred to as “Rightwing Leaders” when discussing their corruption.

Example: Rightwing leader Duke Cunningham used prostitutes to bribe fellow rightwing leaders in congressman.

Any mention of racist groups such as the KKK, Christian Identity, or any neo-Nazi and/or skinhead groups must always be prefaced with the title “Rightwing Grassroots Organization.”

Example: A rightwing grassroots organization composed of racist skinheads beat a Hindu Pakistani man to death today in Seattle on the mistaken belief he was an Arab Muslim because he was wearing a turban.

Example: The KKK and several other Neo-Nazi rightwing grassroots organizations held a rally today in Yucca Flats to celebrate the birthday of Adolph Hitler.

And if the subjects of the Oklahoma City or health clinic bombings ever come up, of course, they were the work of “Rightwing Martyrs” Timothy McVeigh and Eric Robert Rudolph.

In addition, any time you discuss lies, outrageous statements and/or behavior by famous--or not so famous--righty media whores, be sure to add the “Rightwing Spokesperson” tag.

Examples: Rightwing Spokesperson Rush Limbaugh turned himself into police today on a charge of fraud.

Rightwing Spokesperson Bill O’Reilly was seen today purchasing a lufta at the local Wal-Mart. He was in the company of several under-age teenage boys and girls. :D

So there you have it. That is my challenge to you. :)
