2. That's my theory....
They thought they were getting Stephen Colbert from the Colbert Report. Instead they got the real Stephen Colbert.

Stephen Colbert's satirical lavish praise of * is SO over the top, and he acts like such a transparent hypocrite....could it be possible....the * Administration thinks Colbert is SINCERE?!

16. there was a story a month or so go that their original invites all said no
Jerry Seinfeld, David Letterman and Jon Stewart.

I'm guessing they were looking for someone with some bite and it seems they got their wish.
