Look, I thought it was a great bit. I loved having * there listening to all of that, and the captive press. But really, Colbert (and this is nothing against him at all) did a great job of doing the job he was there to do. He also did a great job at promoting himself...nothing wrong with that. The bonus is he may turn a few more over to our side and perhaps even get through to some in the press...great!

But c'mon, folks, this didn't take THAT big of balls.

Millions of people believe he had something to do with 9/11 and the Anthrax attacks. Still others believe he used to stick fire crackers up frogs asses and enjoyed watching them explode.

Even in a fair fight, Bush would kick the living shit out of Colbert but keep in mind, Bush don't play fair. My point, Bush and most of the people Stephen poked a jab at are ruthless to the core and he made a lot of enemies at that Roast. He waved a big "Fuck You" flag right in thier face and that does take courage, if even just a little.

I really hate it when courage is associated with testicles and weakness is associated with vaginias (read: "balls" and "pussy").

I realize they're popular expressions, but it's fucking sexist and offensive to women. Liberals should make an effort to use other slang expressions associated with courage or weakness.

I don't have balls, I will never have balls, I don't want balls, and I would resent anyone making reference to my figurative balls if they perceive something I do to be courageous since courage has nothing to do with any male attributes... it's like saying even though I'm I woman I have courage as if women aren't normally courageous.

Same thing goes for being called a pussy to shame someone for their lack of courage. I have a pussy, and I don't like the fact of my having one being associated with a lack of courage since having a pussy has nothing to do with one's courage or lack thereof, thereby associating my pussy with something I should be ashamed of.

And don't even get me started on the expression "bitch-slapped". :mad:
