A sad realization about Colbert's heroic performance tonight |
|
The man is a host of a late-night comedy show on Comedy Central. And yet...he showed more guts with regards to standing up to the president than most Democrats in Congress do (they are getting better now that Bush's approval rating is 32%, don't get me wrong.)
I long for the day when someone can just roast the president like this and people won't care because the president is just a person like you and me. He's not a king.

3. Well don't we get more REAL news from The Daily Show than from MSM? |
|
So it is perfectly understandable. Nowadays the only truth we get to see or hear is from comedians!!!
