1. The President SHOULD be uncomfortable.
From the moment he wakes up in the morning, to the moment he passes out drunk at night, he should be uncomfortable. He knows what he's doing, and he knows that it's wrong. If God really does talk to him, he's no doubt scolding Bush for his actions.

At the very least, Bush should be uncomfortable.

2. Good for him
He'll probably be the only one until Keith Olbermann.

Well...maybe Chris Matthews. Matthews will tell us how disrespectful it was. But that scrubbie was a gentleman and said nothing. That scrub reminded him of Santa Claus, or Jesus, or Mother Teresa.

5. In all fairness to Bush,
He did comport himself fairly well.

He kept his cool. He forced a smile. He shook Colbert's hand.

Not, of course, that it means all that much. But I consider this in the context of expecting nothing but boorish, arrogant behavior from the Boy King. I expect more decorum from my 3-year-old nephew, who also has a better grasp of morals, ethics, respectful/caring behavior, and a better grounding in reality.

It is a shame, though, that it's noteworthy when the President (sic) meets the very most minimal criteria for adult behavior.

Alas!

Alas ... Babylon?

4. He should have mentioned that the members of the press
also looked uncomfortable when Colbert exposed them
