Stephen Colbert humor reminds me of Abbie Hoffman. |

Abbie was the consummate back-bencher. He could hurl a zinger like no other at the political establishment. Where Abbie had to do this from the street Colbert has found a way to do it within twenty paces of Bush. To his face. On television. On the internets in infinite reruns. I haven't felt this good about a fellow human being in a long, long time.

They think he really means the things he says rather then understanding he's making the RWers know exactly how stupid they all look.
On edit: I however think he is the perfect follow up to The Daily Show.

They do favor one another with there zingers. But of course Corbett dresses more like a rethug so he is more disarming to them.
