Pat Buchanan decrying Rove being left hanging without charges for 3 yrs.
My comment: At least Rove wasn't left hanging out there without charges for 3 years at GITMO!
These ultra hypocritical conservatives really push me to the edge. Law and order and justice should only apply to them and no one else. I wish soomeone had pointed out how many people are being held at GITMO and in prisons right here in the US without having any charges against them.

2. Hoorah. I always get frightened when Pat B. says things that
I agree with (like the war.) But then, he never fails to wing nut, and I think "whew, he's still an A-Hole."

7. Yes, how long was Clinton being "investigated"?
They did everything to probe into his personal life FOR YEARS trying to get something on him in relation to Whitewater.

Results? $70 million spent and not a shred of culpability on Clinton's part.

4. Well, Pat, if Fitzgerald wasn't overworked - nailing corrupt republican
governors and the like, maybe it would go quicker.

Or if the White House hadn't have witheld that 250 pages of emails until this year, maybe that would have made things go more quickly too.

6. Maybe if the WH cooperated with the investigation

and if Bush had just told the truth from the beginning, we wouldn't have had to waste so much time and money.

Rove could have easily ended this thing three years ago by telling the truth.

if he finds the pressure too much to take.

10. Is this from this week's McLaughlin Group?
How about Toadie Blankley COMMENDING Rove for supplying valuable info to the prosecutor via his FIVE trips to the Grand Jury! Good ol' KKKarl, a true patriot. :sarcasm:

11. Only a Republican could come up with THIS logic for someone who is
likely to be subpoenaed for perjury and obstruction. Could Rove have avoided 3 years of this, Pat?

13. I think it's just nifty Rove is left to toss in his sleep for 3 years
and to be stressed and distracted from his "job".

14. He would have rather had been indicted, convicted, and pardoned by now
He knows that if the Dem's take back Congress this November his ticket (Bush) to being pardoned may be impeached and in Leavenworth himself.
