Condoleezza Rice was on Face the Nation this Sunday. Following discussions of Iraq and Iran, Bob Schieffer asked her about her position on the National Anthem being sung in Spanish. Condi then proceeded to dodge the relatively softball question three different times.

I was hopeful that her academic background and native intelligence would put her head and shoulders above the rank and file liars in DC. Not a chance. She is evasive at best.

laugh and say, "People are welcome to sing it in whatever language they want, but I think we'll keep the official version in English for the forseeable future."
