I stand by this man because he stands for things. Not only for things, he stands on things. things like air craft carriers and rubble, and recently flooded city squares. And that sends a strong message, that no matter what happens to America, she will always rebound with the most powerfully staged photo ops in the world.
I'm appalled to be here among the national media who always have a liberal bias, except for Fox news, who presents both sides of the story: The President's side, and the Vice President's.
Over the last five years you people (the news media) were so good. Over tax cuts, WMD intelligence, the effect of global warming... ...we Americans didn't want to know, and you had the courtesy not to try and find out.
At one point, Bush really looked like he wanted to kick Colbert's ass. It was funny, many in the crowd laughed out loud, while others looked really uncomfortable through the whole thing.
