Democratic candidate for Ohio's 3rd District, Dr. Stephanie Studebaker is one of the five DFA Finalist for their Endorsement.


This month, Democracy for America is hosting an online vote to determine which Congressional candidate will receive our next DFA-List endorsement. All of the candidates in the competition are running for either a Republican-held seat or an open seat.

Results are updated hourly and can be seen at Blog for America. Voting for the first round closed on Friday, June 23. The top five candidates (seen below) advanced to this instant run-off round, which started on June 19, to determine the next DFA-List candidate. Voting ends on Friday, June 23 at 5pm EDT.

You may cast only one ballot. Duplicates will be discarded.

A message from Dr. Studebaker:

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my campaign for Congress. As a mother, Veterinarian, and lifelong resident of southwest Ohio, I understand the challenges our families face. For too long regular citizens in our home have had no one to serve as their voice. I will serve in Congress as a citizen legislator and fight for all of our interests.

Recently it was announced that I am a finalist in a competition to win a national endorsement from America's largest grassroots organization, Democracy for America (DFA). Winning this endorsement is crucial to me because grassroots support is the cornerstone of our democracy. Winning DFA’s endorsement would also give me the support I need to show voters they have a real choice between two candidates who represent dramatically different futures.
