You know damned well the NYT is Bushbot mourthpiece when they want info "leaked" to the press. Just think "plame."

3. Exactly....they are trying to have it both ways....and this is going

to backfire against them..they are doing an all out attack on the New York Times.....other publications will get the hint that if they don't play the propaganda of the administration they will be next....

What will the rest of the media do is the question? Will they fight? or will they cower?

4. On another note. Lionel imo is soooo annoying.

I've never heard any radio host on the left so condescending and snooty towards his listeners. (Randi is a close second).

Sorry, but some of them are so way out there. Yes, Lionel can be condescending and outright snooty. I agree. But then he has nights where, caller after caller, he tries to show them by reason, logic and law how the right wing is wrong about the issue at hand. It's on those nights that I marvel at his patience.

So on nights like this when Malloy is away, I give Lionel a chance. Btw, I find that Malloy is far more aggressive with right wingers than Lionel has ever been. And I love him for it. Go figure.

8. That doesn't happen in every case

Besides, he's come a really long way. I remember when he defended the war because he sincerely believed the lies. For coming around on that and other crucial issues with such passion, I allow him a lot of latitude. And unless I had my poop in a group I wouldn't dare call him. He's not required to nursemaid his callers.

Btw, his station just lost the ability to screen callers. They don't know who it is calling or what they want to discuss. The world of live talk radio can be a nightmare.
