1. Oooh, good photo op idea, exploit crippled soldiers
Bush -- who turns 60 next week -- used to jog often before joint pain forced him to turn to mountain biking. But he told Bagge he was ready to make an exception.

3. That line got me.
How very big of him. I wonder how his joint pain compares to the pain of getting ones legs blown off.

5. How benevolent of him...................
:sarcasm: Why doesn't he jog with Cindy Sheehan, instead. Why does he feel the need to exploit this particular soldier? ** is a disgusting human being! If it weren't for his murderous war, Bagge would be whole.

19. Sosobad & CNN had an extensive propoganda photo segment before
the 'glorious run with the compassionate President' segment that aired later in the morning.

The Media is doing everything, and I mean everything, to prop up this failed Presidency (even if superficially--and they do do superficial well, don't they?) including not coming to the aid of the NY Times with respect to 'treason' charges.

The Barbie and Ken script readers need to wake the F up!!!

9. Bush is willing to make this sacrifice, to support the troops.
I fondly recall movies of Hitler in the last days pinning medals onto the chests of 12 year old boy soldiers, the last ones who actually believed in him and fought and died for him happily.

12. This is like...
Charles Manson going bowling with one of his victims.

Good. Let the pResident take the advice of his new wranglers--and attempt
to show that he cares about the soldiers.

It won't work. America is so drained on this war. They sometimes forget
about all of the tragic injuries and deaths--but any photos of this self-serving
event will only remind people that this lying bastard pResident is responsible
for the unfortunate consequences that have been inflicted on this soldier.

What a total putz. I can't believe he's doing this. That's fine if he wants
to visit wounded soldiers. He damn well should. But this is objectifying our
brave soldiers. He's staging them and exploiting them for marketing gains.

17. They're hyping it on CNN before it even happens.
Showed the guy in rehab, running on spring legs he earned while fighting for Bush's lies.

Why won't they have him appear with the soliders who will never walk again, never see again, never have children again, never think right again?

21. I hope Sergeant Bagge runs this quarterwit into the ground
Let's see...a 23-year-old combat arms NCO (nobody in combat support makes E-6 that fast) running with a 60-year-old dictator. I wonder if Sergeant Bagge is up to finding out whether Bush's doctors are telling the truth about Shrub's cardiac health.

This guy could probably do two miles in 12 minutes before Shrub put him on metal legs, and I know he could hump a ruck 12 miles in under three hours because that's the Forces Command standard for combat arms soldiers. I think Dear Leader is going to rue the day he ever agreed to this.
