But then I remembered the tornadoes, blizzards, and the humidity in Nebraska (where I used to live), and realized it's not so bad here after all. Pretty soon, you start having fun with the heat. I remember in 1990, when we hit a record of 122 degrees, the guys monitoring the temperature at the airport were cheering as the temps went up. I mean, after all, if you're going to live through that kind of heat, you might as well get the reward of making history with it, y'know? :D

Right now, we have a lot of psychos roaming the streets. The Baseline Rapist, this jerk who's shooting everything in sight, and a handful of others. The cops are telling people to have their cell phones handy, just in case they're attacked. One bullet, and you won't be able to hit that SEND button, folks. It never fails to amaze me, how cops offer such pathetic "advice" to the public during a scare like this.
