What is the modern vision of Heaven?
I mean what is the deal closer, you accept jc and then when you die what happens? I remember hearing about walking on streets of gold and playing a harp, that was the vision, it seems to me like there should be a better benefit package.

4. I envision a place
that is not physical, just spiritual, where I will always feel love and where I will not have any more questions. And also where I can see my family again.

That's my hope. I don't have any proof that it exists, however.

7. That comes pretty close to my concept Grannie
I imagine if there is a heaven it will be on a spiritual plane, no need for bodies, however I'm more inclined to believe that i just become unaware forever and ever amen.
What i'm trying to figure out is what is the big draw for the believers, what do they expect to happen after death?

11. I think that one's concept of heaven depends
heavily on one's ability to think abstractly. Young children and folks with limited abilities tend to think of it in terms of material things like golden streets. Although, to be fair, that is a description in the Bible. But that kind of proves my point because for the most part I believe folks who are true literalists regarding the Bible are not the sharpest crayons in the box, and they don't do well with metaphor and analogy.

9. I think what they want us to conceptualize
is a place where our litter box is usually cleaned promptly, and we don't mind eating food from a jumbo bag purchased at the dollar store.

Heaven to me is earth as it could be.
