I'm still in shock that he was elected mayor of SLC. I don't think the rest of the state is nearly as open minded as Salt Lake. I grew up about 30 miles from Salt Lake and it was like living 20 years behind the rest of the world!

for anyone watching the process with their eyes open. I'm a Salt Laker who gets a feel for the public pulse on this daily and I can tell you that practically NO ONE drives around with a pro-Bush bumper sticker anymore.
